User Interview Insights Synthesis Wire-frame UI Design User Testing
During field research, we studied the roles of stakeholders at each stage of construction—before, during, and after the build. This helped us identify pain points and needs in their workflows. We also reviewed environmental regulations in each country to find the essential compliance requirements. Using these insights, we created sustainable solutions that Heidelberg Materials could implement, designing a prototype that was then improved through user testing, making it stronger and more effective.
In the early stages of planning and design, accurate analysis and smart choices are essential, as each stakeholder has different needs from start to finish. From these insights, we developed a solution: tailored approaches that consider each stakeholder’s unique requirements, making efficient and sustainable decision-making possible throughout the project.
What I've Learned
An outcome that captures a wide range of stakeholder perspectives
I’ve learned that effective design isn’t just about focusing on the user—it’s essential to understand the contexts and needs of all stakeholders. Over three months of close collaboration with team, we shared and refined creative insights, which highlighted for me the importance of passion and dedication. This experience, along with my personal study of the construction field, has shown me the value of a broad perspective in design.
